The DTA-2154 is out of production and replaced by the DTA-2174. The DTA-2174 is fully compatible to the DTA-2154 and adds 3G-SDI support.

  • Four independent software controllable bi-directional BNC ports, operable in ASI, SD-SDI or HD-SDI mode, with individual status LEDs.
  • Digital Genlock (through port 1) or analogue genlock input port (fifth port) accepts bi- and tri-level synchronization signals.
  • Two RS-422 ports for connection to a deck.
  • Full-frame capture and play-out is possible through the sophisticated DMA engine, but capturing a 1/4 or 1/16 hardware scaled resolution, for reducing PCIe bus bandwidth, is also possible.


  • Live production mixer and effect generators.
  • General purpose HD-SDI processor of a mix of HD-SDI and/or ASI signals, recorder and player.
  • Video encoding and transcoding.

DekTec Matrix API

  • Organizes incoming HD-SDI data in a matrix of frame buffers, so that frames can be accessed as a function of port number and time.
  • Synchronization of multiple input streams is straightforward: Frames with the same arrival time are stored in the same column.
  • Read or write to individual lines, HANC, VANC or full frame.
  • Access functions for embedding or de-embedding audio or other ANC data.
  • Supports all 16-audio channels.
  • Integrated and fully compatible with DTAPI.
