The privacy policy set out below is applied by DekTec Digital Video B.V. and its subsidiaries DekTec America Inc. and DekTec UK. The scope of this privacy policy is personal data stored by DekTec about our (prospective) customers, website visitors, mailing list subscribers and visitors at trade shows. This policy is compliant to the EU's General Data Protection Regulation.

Collecting personal data

We collect personal data when you provide the data to us:

• By contacting us for requesting a quotation or placing an order.
• When you subscribe to our email newsletter.
• When you visit us at a trade show and specifically request information about our products.

Personal data kept by DekTec

• For our customers we store business name (if applicable) and for each contact person name, address, email address and telephone number. This information is used for creating solicited quotations, for shipping customer orders and for providing product support.
• For website visitors we store no personal data.
• For mailing list subscribers we store your name, country, email address, the date you provided consent for sending you our email newsletter and a proof of this consent. This information is used for emailing newsletters and product updates to you. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time.

Sharing of personal data

We will use the personal data only to the extent necessary to run our business, for the purposes described in the section above. We may share your contact details with the authorized distributor in your region only if you have requested a quotation or placed a purchase order. We will not share or sell personal data of our mailing list subscribers to any third party.

Retaining personal data

• Personal data for our business contacts is retained for a period of 7 years after the the last contact with you, to fulfill our administrative legal obligations.
• We keep personal data for email subscribers for 2 years after the last time you have provided consent for sending our email newsletter to you.

Securing personal data

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to store data in a secure way with access strictly restricted to administrators and staff that needs the information to carry out their job.

Your rights with respect to personal data stored by DekTec

You may contact DekTec to exercise the following rights:

• Inquire what personal data we have stored of you for what purpose.
• Have your personal data corrected, deleted, or withdraw the consent to use your information (in which case we will delete your personal data).
• To receive your personal data in a machine-readable ('portable') format.
• Restrict or object to the use of your personal data by DekTec.
• Complain to a supervisory authority.
