DTA-2139 - Twelve-Channel Cable Receiver for PCIe

DTA-2139

Twelve-Channel Cable Receiver for PCIe

Twelve (!) cable receivers on a single PCIe card, supporting J.83 Annex A, B and C.
All twelve transport streams are demodulated simultaneously, allowing you to monitor a complete cable network in real time.

The DTA-2139 is an obsolete product that is no longer in production.

For new designs, DekTec recommends the DTA-2139C, which has improved RF performance and supports new standards including DVB-T2, ISDB-T, ATSC 1.0 and ATSC 3.0.

Features

  • Twelve independently-tunable cable tuners and twelve demodulators, each outputting the full transport stream.
  • Each receiver provides an indication of lock status, RF level and MER for that channel.

Applications

  • 24/7 continuous compliancy monitoring of an entire cable network.
  • Creating a mosaic of all services on a cable network.

Block Diagram

The RF input is split into a loop-through (available on a connector) and - after amplification - a signal feeding three tuners, each of which has three outputs routed again to three tuners. Each receiver channel consists of a chip tuner, chip demodulator and an optimized DMA controller.
