Features
- Two independent software controllable BNC ports (one bi-directional, one output-only), operable in ASI or SDI mode, with individual status LEDs.
- Cable equalization and inverted ASI support, as well as (8- and) 10-bit SDI full-frame (270Mbps), with support for lossless SDI huffman encoding/decoding for reduction of bus bandwidth and file size.
- Hardware counters for bitrate measurement and statistics and flexible receive mode with time-stamping, packet sequence counting and false-sync pass-through.
- Watchdog-controlled input-to-output bypass relay; in case hardware or software fails, the output is physically connected to the input.
- Transmit on timestamp mode for generation of ASI test streams with packet jitter.
- Bitrate lock mode for locking the output bitrate to the input bitrate.
- Raw ASI mode for transmitting or receiving all ASI symbols, including K28.5 stuffing characters.
Applications
- Simple fail-over configuration for High-Availability stream generation.
- Using the StreamXpert and SdEye software all ports can be individually monitored and analyzed.
- In combination with MuxXpert you can real-time multiplex streams from input to output.
